Alumni: David Dean

David graduated from the course in 1999 back when we were in Cavendish Building and I was in my first period as a lecturer on the course. The working method began in these studios with a clear focus on the narrative colourful and decorative aspects of illustration. A large part of Davids final show was made up of depictions of Indian short stories.

These were seen by artists agent Lorraine Owen at the Organisation at the London show i 1999 and David has  been with them ever since.

His career has developed across a wide range of publications including a highly successful ‘World Atlas’ print and App project for Barefoot Books.
