Bradford Pit Project: Update

The Bradford Pit Project

Pictures below of the Bradford Pit Project site installation, created as part of the Manchester Histories Festival in June 2016. The exhibition was hosted in the new Beswick Library building in close proximity to the original location of Bradford Pit in east Manchester.

The exhibition period was initially extended beyond the Histories festival to remain through out the summer period. As of late 2016 there are now plans for a permanent translation of this exhibition to be installed in 2017 with support of a number of partner organisations.

Artwork on display by Illustration with Animation Students: Jacob Phillips, Antony Cross and David Howe. Additional work was presented as part of the exhibition from students on BA (Hons) Photography, BA (Hons) Graphic Design and BA (Hons) Three Dimensional Design at Manchester School of Art.
